Vector Control of Induction Machines via Firefly Algorithm for Speed Application

A novel firefly optimized algorithm is proposed in this paper, it used to get optimized parameters of PID for indirect vector control in induction motor drive system. Compare with conventional PID and genetic optimization algorithm, the simulation results show that the proposed method has excellent dynamic and static performance.
