In the present age people always remain busy in their day to day work. They also want to ensure the safety of their beloved person & things. Working Youngsters always face security issue for their elder member in the family. In this paper work, a security system is being developed in which an interface of the doorbell is enabled with a mobile phone via Bluetooth. In a case that one is not at home and a visitor is at his door steps then the authorized person will be notified about the visitor via WhatsApp and the person can see the visitor from the web through the camera from anywhere and the system-will take a picture of the visitor and keep a record by sending an attachment through WhatsApp. The picture capture and sharing on WhatsApp feature will be done with the help of the mobile phone kept beyond the door. If the authorized person wants to give a message the visitor it can be sent easily through the internet and it-will appear in a screen on the front face of the door. The door lock can be controlled through the internet. This Security system can be implemented with the help of an Arduino Uno board which is implemented at the place of doorbell. It enables the interaction between the phone and the Bluetooth shield connected with the Arduino board. The other feature of the picture caption and the picture sharing via WhatsApp will be implemented with the help of an android application. In this security system any Camera featured smartphone can be used.
