Detection of oncological cell for breast cancer by using SPR technology

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is a detection method which is widely used over the past decades in analyzing the bimolecular interaction. This is a technique with which we can measure the small variation find in the refractive index near the surface of metal with higher sensitivity. This change in refractive index is measured due to the interaction in the molecules. In this paper early stage detection of breast cancer is done by using this SPR technique. Simulation results shows a distinct shift in the wavelength spectrum for normal and cancer cell. This SPR based sensor is highly sensitive and best choice for bio-medical applications. Here channel waveguide dependent SPR sensor structure is used and simulation is done by Rsoft Full Wave tool.
