Adaptive eLearning system for visual and verbal learners

Learning style of a learner is an important parameter which enhances learning efficiency of the learner. Detecting learning style automatically and adapting the learning style for style specific content delivery in learning management systems is one of the areas where researchers are focusing. This paper highlights the current research developments in adaptive eLearning Systems. In this paper problems which need attention for developing adaptive eLearning Systems are identified and discussed. Our findings reveal that there is a scope for implementing adaptive eLearning systems that confirms learning style identified through ILS questionnaire by comparing it with real time interaction of learner with the learning objects, the way in which learner interacts with the learning management system. We propose to implement an “An interactive dynamic eLearning Framework” that can identify the visual learner and verbal learner automatically to deliver style specific learning objects for better understanding and to learn on their own pace.
