Pipelined processor for image compression through Burrows-Wheeler Transform

In today's world, everyone wants to save space as well as time. Everyone needs that their data takes minimal amount of storage which can be processed as fast as possible. Compression is used as a transform to eliminate the redundant data and keep only the important data. Compression can be lossy as well as lossless depending on the amount of compression. Lossless compression has lesser compression ratio as compared to lossy compression. This paper proposes an idea of pipelined processor which will do lossless image compression through Burrows-Wheeler Transform to decrease the latency of the system and to achieve higher throughput. This will also help for faster transfer of data over the network.
