A new approach of the three phase mono-axial unconventional windings for AC machines

Some properties of the three-phase mono-axial windings are reviewed from the point of view of both odd and even space harmonics. An interesting symmetry of the winding factors are demonstrated and used in order to synthesise windings with low copper and/or low space harmonic content.
