Resolution of system design problems

This paper reports the development, in prog ress, of a completely rigorous mathematical theory of the resolution of a given system design problem into a set of interrelated system component design problems. The theory is based on mathematical system theory and the tricotyledon theory of system design. The style is descriptive. The theory has been developed to derive requirements for the DP component of ballistic missile defense systems.
