Performance comparison of switched-current basic cells

This paper presents a comparison among some of the basic switched-current cells that have been proposed since the early years of this technique. Although several methods to reduce errors have been proposed so far, we have found only five basic cells, which present better characteristics in terms of two figures of merit. The figures of merit are the total harmonic distortion and offset current.
