Research on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the ablation particles in plasma sheath in reentry process

This paper uses the generalized Rayleigh Jenkins ellipsoid approximation, establish the ablated particle scattering model based on Monte Carlo simulation method to research the effect of the ablated particles' coherent scattering. Compared with the vector radiative transfer theory and experimental data. According to several scattering conditions and the superposition of the scattering field, the scattering characteristics of ablated particles have been discussed. The larger the ablated particles, the higher the frequency of the incident wave, the scattering characteristics become more obvious.
