A novel agent based match making algorithm in multi-tenant architecture

Multi-tenant is an architecture which allows multiple tenants (customers) to share a single instance of a software application. Resource demand for each and every tenant will differ. For satisfying the tenants demand, the software application will take varying response time. By applying the appropriate load balancing algorithm among the tenants we can reduce the response time and also increase the resource utilization. Load balancing is a technique that distributes the excess dynamic local workload evenly across all nodes. This algorithm consists of different types of agents, which considers network proximity, live task migration and the needed properties of VM for optimal fitness functions evaluation. Thus, we have formed the basis for balancing the load across multiple servers. The implementation of this algorithm in multi-tenant will reduce operational cost, migration time, down time and also increases the resource utilization which results in optimal task placement.
