MRTD formulation with convolution PML absorbing boundary condition

A perfectly matched layer (PML) medium with complex frequency-shifted (CFS) constitutive parameters is introduced for the multiresolution time-domain (MRTD) method. The absorbing boundary is implemented by using the convolution PML (CPML), which is easier to obtain and more memory saving than the conventional implementation of PML when treating more generalized media. Numerical results show that the CPML can provide a satisfactory absorbing boundary condition.
