Design and simulation of integrated offshore wind farm

The non-conventional energy has gained importance in past few years, especially wind energy has been brought into mainstream energy generation. This paper presents design and simulation of offshore windfarm which can be connected to HVDC transmission. The renewable energy source i.e. offshore wind farm situated in deep waters has been designed and simulated using MATLAB software. The system has been tested under normal and abnormal fault condition and simulation results have been obtained.
