Optimization of energy consumption of a wastewater treatment plant by using technological forecasts and green energy

In this paper we focus on describing different functioning regimes of a municipal wastewater treatment plant from an energetic point of view. We propose optimization strategies taking into consideration technological constraints and the opportunity of using green energy generation plants to compensate for a certain ratio of the total annual amount of energy.
