A modeling and closed-loop identification method based on RLS for top pressure in blast furnace

The stabilization of top pressure plays a significant role in the ironmaking process of blast furnace and has great influence on the production of steel. In order to research the relationship between top pressure and opening of annular gap and static blade, this paper presents a modeling for top pressure and the pressure before TRT and closed-loop identification method based on RLS. First, the dynamic mathematical model of top pressure and the pressure before TRT is established based on the mechanism analysis of blast furnace top pressure system and gas flow equation. Considering the data of industrial field is collected under the condition of closed-loop system, we propose an indirect identification method, which converts the closed-loop identification into two open-loop identifications. And then, the model of top pressure and the pressure before TRT is identified by closed-loop identification method based on recursive least squares (RLS). The results show that the model can accurately describe the actual change of top pressure and the pressure before TRT.
