The situation of equipment storage life extension

With the development and update of the weapon equipment, a lot of inventory equipment has reached the storage life cycle or service life cycle limit. In the guiding ideology of develop more and produce less equipment, the life extension of existing weapons and equipment has been placed in the prominent position. In this paper, first, works of domestic and foreign weapons' life extension were introduced. Second, the meaning, basic methods and principles to carry out the work of weapons' life extension were discussed. Last, the summary of weapons' life extension work were made.
