Governance of IT and cybernetics

Ongoing project failures led to the development of an international standard for the governance of IT. Decades earlier, the science of Cybernetics established theorems and laws for organizations to be effective under changing environments. This paper examines the common areas of governance of IT and Cybernetics, and proposes directions for future development.
