A mechanism for the "no-response"" phenomenon during anodal stimulation of cardiac tissue

The author's goal is to use computer simulations and the bidomain model to suggest a mechanism for the "no-response" phenomenon in cardiac tissue. The "no-response" phenomenon occurs when an increase in the stimulus strength abolishes excitation. The author's calculations suggest that the "no-response" phenomenon is associated with "anode break" stimulation.
