Deep slot effect in the squirrel-cage induction motors with scalar (V/F) control

Qualitative characteristics of the electrical drive considerably depend on identification accuracy of math model parameters. In particular, it is depend on detection accuracy of stator active resistance π that is used in calculation of flux linkages, rotary speed in sensorless control systems. Paper provides analysis of influence of stator deep slot effect to stator active resistance value.
