A Rule Based Image Segmentation System (RBISS)

Based on the comprehensive utilization of the conventional techniques this paper presents a Rule-Based Expert System for Image Segmentation. Under the Control of various rules, this System can segment the images of many kinds and the complicate image which includes many image areas of various kinds by using corresponding segmentation algorithms. Therefore, this image segmentation system can be used in many cases of application.
