AC-DC current transfer difference estimation of thin-film multijunction TCs up to 1 MHz

This paper reports our recent progress in the estimation of ac-dc transfer difference of planar thin-film multijunction thermal converters (TCs) employed as primary current transfer standard for frequencies up to 1 MHz. A group of PMJTCs with rated heater resistance of 90-Ω have been compared by using a new automated measuring system. Type A uncertainty is less than 0.1 μA/A for all frequencies. A short description of the automated measuring system developed is reported and the results show that the experimental setup is suitable for the comparison of thin-film AC-DC current transfer standards for frequencies up to 1 MHz.
