Impedance measurements up to 13 MHz

This paper describes the measurement errors that could be obtained on four terminal pair impedance (Z
_4TP
) measurements up to 13 MHz using a vector network analyzer (VNA). To highlight these issues different configurations of measurement have been set up: the use of different calibration kits to calibrate a VNA, the use of BNC - type N adapters. The knowledge of the impedance value of the load standard used during the calibration method of the VNA is one of the main issues to be carefully considered in order to perform accurate impedance measurement in the high frequency range.
