A novel cloud based hospital health care service network framework with delay sensitive handoff guarantee

According the tremendous increasing of personal health care requirements, continuous monitoring of patients' health parameters is critical to make correct diagnoses, the traditional health care service system is inefficiency, untimely, and facing critical challenge. how to design a seamless wireless communication framework and powerful computing platform for healthcare service is critical. In this paper, we propose a novel cloud based service network infrastructure including BSN, WLAN and 3G/4G cellular network, a local mobile switch center of different access points in the same sub network is designed to assist the smooth handover between different APs, and a delayed time stamp data transmission mechanism is adopted when patients handoff between 3G/4G and WLAN, the performance of the proposed network and handoff scheme is simulated and the results show that the transmitted medical data can be recovered with good quality.
