Study of shunt active filter using MATLAB tools environment

In this paper analysis of active filter has been illustrated. Inasmuch, study has been done for single phase only and comparison with former passive filter has also exhibited. Moreover, the current control method by using which the dilemma can be eliminated has been shown, that manages the distorted load current as well as source current, too. At the end, power quality improvement and amelioration in it has also been considered that balances the high suppression of harmonics in reverse proportion.
