Micro-vibration control method based on magnetic flux notch filter for magnetically levitated rotor

In this paper, a novel active vibration control method based on flux feedback is proposed. In which, hall sensor is used to detect the flux of magnetic bearings. Three micro-vibration control methods of position-loop notch filter, magnetic force estimation notch filter and magnetic flux notch filter are analyzed and simulated in detail. The simulation results show that the magnetic flux feedback eliminates the measurement error of air gap, the magnetic force non-linearity and the current/displacement stiffness error caused by the error of the vibration estimation. The system vibration is reduced by 89% on the basis of the magnetic force estimation notch filter.
