Study of equipment renewal strategy based on the cosine method

With the development of science and technology, equipment advances toward type serialization and intelligence, causing the prices of the equipment to increase. It has become increasingly complicated and difficult to make decisions on the equipment renewal. What's more, as the requirements for the equipment differ, it is a question of the equipment strategy for the decision makers to seek the best match between the requirements of different users and the characteristics of devices. This paper focuses on the facilitating the equipment renewal process through the cosine method. By establishing the “2→1” model on the basis of the matching degree between the orchestrated objects and the requirements for the equipment performance, it offers a best renewal solution to the renewal of a device for an advanced model of the same type, and verifies the method through examples.
