Impulsive consensus for second-order multi-agent systems based on asynchronous sampled information

This paper studies the consensus problem of second-order agents with impulsive protocol and asynchronous sampling information. It is assumed that each agent measures the relative position information to the neighbors and its velocity information at its own clock. For different agents, the measurement times are independent of each other. By only reducing the order of stacked velocity vector and common Lyapunov function, it is proved that there exist protocol parameters ensuring consensus. Also, the design of the parameters can be given by solving a linear matrix inequality. Finally, simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
