Semi-transparent OLEDs fabrication using lamination process

Semi-transparent organic light-emitting diodes were fabricated using lamination process. Indium-tin-oxide (ITO) was used for both electrodes as anode and cathode. Device characteristics were dramatically improved to coat ultra-thin polyethylenimine ethoxylated (PEIE) layer on ITO cathode. Transmittance of over 50% was obtained above wavelength of 510 nm. Bright emission of 8,700 cd/m² was obtained from ITO anode side.
