Study and analysis of a three-phase rectifier with Push-Pull control

In this paper, a study of a type “Boost” rectifier was carried out. Among the systems operating in discontinuous mode, the latter offers the ease of control and carry less important voltage on the semiconductor. However, since the input current is discontinuous, that increases the Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). So to meet the standards, an additional filter is necessary within a restricted power range. To improve the performance of this type of systems, we proposed a new configuration in which we included the command of two rectifiers ‘Push-Pull’. This technique allowed the system to face less pulsating currents, and therefore it enhances the filtering. Great importance was given to the modeling of this type of rectifier. The simulation results were presented taking into account the control loop. The performance of the new solution was evaluated using the electrical efficiency.
