In order to charge the battery, Energy storage devices required an energy conversion by the PCS(Power Conversion System) which is the grid linked AC power to the DC power. Additionally, the converted DC voltage should be required to flat voltage without a little ripples and a filter, a protective circuit for the stable power conversion.
