Nanocarbon interconnects combining vertical CNT interconnects and horizontal graphene lines

We investigate the performance and variability of electrical contacts in nanocarbon interconnects. Three dimensional carbon interconnects combining carbon nanotube (CNT) vertical interconnects and graphene lines are realized for the first time and the specific contact resistance between CNT and graphene is reported. CNT interconnects with low resistivity and variability are obtained through optimization of the contacts.
