MPPT algorithm for wind energy generation system using T-S fuzzy modeling

A wind generation system consisting of a fixed pitch angle wind turbine, a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG), power electronic converters and a load, is treated in this paper. This study deals with the problem of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) of the generated power based on Takagi Sugeno fuzzy model. The stability analysis is achieved by means of Lyapunov theory and H-infinity performance. The gains of the designed controller are calculated by solving Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI). In order to check the efficiency of the proposed control strategy, simulation results are carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
