Generation of Images of WND Equivalent from HTML Prototypes

HTML prototypes are regarded as a kind of Evolutionary prototypes. During the evolutionary development, the prototype is refined and rebuilt. The creation of prototype description document is also required as the supplementary. Windows Navigation Diagram (WND) is usually part of the prototype description document, serving as the design model of user interfaces. Since the document preparation demands extra project resources, this paper presents an approach to generating images of windows navigation equivalent diagrams from the HTML prototype that would contribute to process improvement. The graph description language, DOT, is selected to aid the construction. It is expected that the implementation of the proposed method would help reduce resources in document preparation, improve integrity of deliverables, and increase project productivity.
