3-D modeling of frequency spectrum of volume spherical resonator by using FDTD method

We present the use of FDTD method to obtain the resonant frequencies of a volume 3D spherical microwave resonator for further its analyses and modeling in quantum (wave) chaos problem. Because a spherical cavity resonator can be considered as billiard dynamical system, studying frequency resonator spectrum and its changes under the influence of inhomogeneties inside of the resonator allows us to detect wave chaos.
