Guest Editorial Optical Interconnects

The eight papers in this special section focus on high performance optical interconnect architectures and key technologies which can support the rising bandwidth demands of mega data centers and high-performance computing systems. The papers are expanded versions of papers presented at the 2015 IEEE Optical Interconnects Conference.
