Comparison Of Laboratory And Fold Experiments For Tin Destruction Of Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin Using Concentrated Solar Energy

Laboratory and field experiments were designed and constructed to demonstrate the destruction of a dioxin isomer using concentrated solar energy. Both laboratory and field results show that the dioxin isomer can effectively be destroyed. Results also show significant enhancements of the reaction rate due to the presence of solar radiation from 300 to 400 um. A comparison of laboratory and field results demonstrated a good correspondance between the two experimental regimes.
