An analysis of cloud computing utilization in a university's environment

The article deals with the utilization and modern trends of cloud computing technologies in a university environment, especially to support the use of mobile technologies in the education process. Cloud Computing has been defined as a very progressive area of contemporary nowadays ICT and represents computing paradigm where the boundaries of computing will be determined by economic rationale, rather than technical limits. Cloud computing enables its user's an efficient management of data centres, virtualization and timesharing. Use of this tool in university's (or education) environment by students will be analysed in the article. Especially thanks to the usage of cloud computing, this enables the students or teachers to easily access the university network, files, emails, studying materials and software. This analysis is aimed on evaluation of the most frequent used cloud technologies and services among students with focus on the most popular technologies.
