EUCAS 2015 Conference Chair's Introduction

Presents the introduction Chairman's message from the EUCAS 2015 Conference. Superconductivity is often a hidden technology but superconductivity is an outstanding enabling technology for many fields, health, energy, quest of our origins. We have discussed the latest researches but also developments. SC FCL are for example an on the shelf device and we have promoted its use with great interest in grids. One of our missions is also to alert about the possible future breakthroughs so we held a special session about superconducting computing. Superconductivity at high temperature and pressure has been recently discovered in Sulfur Hybrid. Superconductivity is well alive and very dynamic from materials to applications.
