An energy balance mechanism for monitoring in partial rechargeable WMSNs

The mobile wireless sensor networks have had much more popular applications in recent years. Especially, wireless rechargeable sensor networks emerge some technological breakthroughs. However, exploiting the rechargeable ability to improve the monitoring lifetime is a great challenge when the rechargeable area is in the partial of environment. This paper proposes a distributed cooperative algorithm for monitoring in partial rechargeable mobile wireless sensor environment. The sensors cooperate by considering both energy consumption for movement and the remaining energy of neighbors to prolong the lifetime of environment monitoring. Furthermore, the simulation results represent that the proposed algorithm is outstanding than the exist mechanisms for monitoring environment by means of exploiting recharging energy efficiently.
