Profile recognition using recheck procedure

Improved technique for face profile recognition were developed based on geometric feature components. The detailed descriptions of the feature extraction task, vector components selection as well as a matching method that made used of a recheck procedure to ensure a matching result are the main topics of the present paper. The efficiency of this approach has been tested using 51 profile images. The system performance and errors incurred were evaluated as shown in the experimental result.
