In this issue of IEEE Control Systems Magazine, we interview three prominent researchers in the field of control systems: Alexandre Bayen, the winner of the 2013 Antonio Ruberti Young Researcher Prize; Aaron Ames, the winner of the 2015 Donald P. Eckman Award; and Tom Edgar, the winner of the 2015 American Automatic Control Council (AA CC) Richard E. Bellman Control Heritage Award.
