Generalized binary tent-maps for built-in self-test for wearable medical devices

We propose a method for pattern generation for built-in self-testing and a class of pattern generators that may have advantages in wearables and portable devices for medical use. The generator is based on generalized binary tent maps. We investigate the capabilities of these maps to produce a wide range of patterns suitable for device testing.
