Introduction to the Issue on Advanced Signal Processing in Microscopy and Cell Imaging

The papers in this special issue are devoted to advances in microscopy image processing with a special focus on mathematical imaging and algorithms design. It covers a wide scope of applications and challenges that are specific to the field, from image reconstruction, segmentation, and classification to object tracking.
