Raman spectroscopic detection of bio-active small molecules using alkyne tag

We use alkyne as a Raman tag for bio-active small molecules and which shows a distinct peak at the Raman-silent window of biomolecules. Raman scattering microscopy is used to observe the distribution of target small molecules in cells and lipid membranes.
