Unified Gesture Interaction Method in Multi-devices Space

More and more devices that support gesture interaction can be employed in intelligent space, bringing various interaction patterns, i.e. Barehanded/auxiliary touch/touch less mode. The diversity of gesture interaction devices results into the interaction complexity and great cognitive load for users. In order to reduce the users' cognitive load, we designed unified gesture interaction method for multiple devices. Especially we defined a uniform interactive gesture set based on ordered geometrical parameters. Through usability testing, we verified that the method can reduce users' learning time, decrease interaction difficulty, and increase users' interaction efficiency.
