Is Microprocessor Software Really A Problem?

The likelihood of success associated with any software project has two main paramaters; the problem complexity and the experience level of the designer/implementers. These factors are important because the lowering costs of microprocessor and memory devices results in a large increase in the number of designs which incorporate these devices.
