Two-photon transmission equation in SMF and it's analyses

Two-photon transmission equation in a single mode optical fiber (SMF) is deduced, considering loss, dispersion and nonlinear optic effects, through quantizing the fundamental mode field. The equation is solved by using perturbation method. And then the dispersion equation for the steady-state solution is obtained. The change of photon power in generalized field with perturbation frequency is discussed, and the influences of fiber dispersion and nonlinearity on the solution are analyzed. The results show Quantum information transmission can be influenced by loss, dispersion and nonlinear effect in SMF, leading to the evolution of transmission state and energy transfer.
