Sensor to monitor in-cockpit eye level arterial pulse patency for G-LOC

Human physiology continues to be the limiting factor in aircraft performance. The ability to monitor head level arterial pulsations gives insight into the consciousness of the pilot during high acceleration maneuvers. With the use of acceleration technologies and a post processing algorithm, results indicate an average of over 90% detection of arterial pulsations in a light weight, unobtrusive package that can be implemented into a helmet.
