Validation of experimental simple solar still mass flow rate using a Lewis number correlation

This study is based on the use of the ‘Lewis number’ correlation concerning the mass flow rate, by comparing theoretical results with those obtained experimentally of a simple solar distiller still. Uses of single or double glass cover for periodically oriented or fixed solar still are studied. Experimental results and those calculated with the ‘Lewis number’ correlation show good agreements.
