The Spectral Domain Approach — Maxwell equations compliant basis functions with strongly decaying spectrum

A class of pulses with strongly decaying spectrum was recently introduced as piecewise basis functions for the SDA applied to the microstrip line. Further new features are investigated in this paper regarding the Maxwell Equations compliance and the spurious mode avoidance.
