Microfluidic circuit for flow rate auto-regulation

In this paper, the behaviour of an active auto-regulated microfluidic circuit for flow rate equalization is reported. The objective of this circuit consists on providing equal flow rates in the two outlets of the circuit, with no external actuation, when a flow rate comes from a common source. This behaviour is based on a previous device which is a component of the proposed circuit, the Navier-Stokes equations and Matlab simulations. This active microfluidic circuit is intended for improving the productivity of process thanks to the parallel working, in microfluidic-based devices.
